While we were home for Thanksgiving my mom took all the grandkids to sears for pictures. Ben and Kristen did pretty well considering the jet lag we all had.

We had a great trip home for Thanksgiving. We ended up leaving a day earlier than planned, which was nice. Everyone back home was so excited to see Kristen for the first time, and to see how much Ben had changed. Ben had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and friends. Unfortunately my camera started acting up, so we don't have many pictures. We'll have to get some from Grandma that she took.

October/November pictures

Poor Kristen doesn't get any of her baby toys for herself. She will be a much better sharer than Ben is by his age just because she will have so much practice. : )

Tick or Treat!

Ben went Trick or Treating with Reagan. They had a lot of fun. I couldn't get Ben to part with his lollipop for the picture so we got him sticky face and all. Its more realistic this way anyhow.

Halloween Egg Hunt

Our local township had a Halloween Egg Hunt for the kids. Ben and Reagan had a lot of fun picking up the orange and black eggs filled with candy. Ben was a cute shark and Reagan was a adorable flower. We had a beautiful day for the festivities.

Kristen 3 months

We took Kristen to have her 3 month pictures taken. She did great and we got some cute shots.

Uncle Charlie

We took a trip down to Ashland, KY to see Uncle Charlie. We had a very nice visit. It had been over a year since we saw him last.

Just a Swinging

We are lucky in that Kristen loves her swing. When I need to be doing something other than entertain her, she is content to swing for quite a while. It is one of her favorite places to fall asleep as well. She is just a calmer baby all around than Ben was. Thank goodness!

Ben's 2 year pictures

We finally made it to the photographer to have Ben's 2 year pictures taken. He hasn't yet decided to smile just because we ask him, so it was a little difficult. It takes Ben a while to warm up and he kept jumping up and running away from the camera. We did manage to get a couple of good poses.

Kristen is 2 months old.

Kristen is starting to smile. Here I just missed a full blown smile. The camera is just not fast enough. : ) Ben really loves his little sister and likes to give her hugs and talk to her.

Happy Birthday Ben!

It is so hard to believe but Ben is now 2. His birthday was Sept 5th and we had family and friends over for pizza and cupcakes to celebrate on the 6th. Ben had great fun opening his presents and blowing out the candles. He was very excited about his new trike. Now he just needs to master the peddling so mommy and daddy don't have to push him everywhere, although it is great exercise.

Its so hard to believe, but Kristen is already one month old! Happy One Month Little One!

While Kristen was sleeping, the rest of us spent some family time reading the Sunday newspaper.

Everyone asks how Ben is doing with his sister. Truth be told he pretty much acts like nothing is new. He has been suprisingly tolerant about sharing his mommy. It helps that he is very much a daddy's boy. As you can see in the last picture, he had to be bribed to hold his sister with a chocolate which he is holding in his left hand.

Here are the proud grandparents. They really enjoyed spoiling Ben and Kristen and the kids really enjoyed being spoiled. Now mom and dad have to get them back to reality. : )
